Saudi artist Mohammed Abdu announced the postponement of all his upcoming artistic activities and stated that he will not be involved in any new future engagements until further notice, in order to maintain his health and focus on creating new musical works, as mentioned by Rotana Audio Company.
In a post on the "X" platform, the company informed the fans and admirers of the Artist of the Arabs, Mohammed Abdu, that "Rotana Music Group, represented by the artist's event management, informs you that, by agreement between Rotana and the artist, all planned activities have been postponed, and there will be no new future engagements until further notice to be announced."
Rotana emphasized that "this decision comes in the interest and appreciation of our beloved artist's safety," and noted that he will dedicate this time to his personal projects, increasing his presence in studios to work on new songs that require significant focus and effort to satisfy his audience upon their release.
The statement from Rotana mentioned that "this period will be a time for rest and recuperation so he can spend more time with his family, and it reassured the fans of 'Abu Noura' of a 'meeting' soon, without delaying since they have always been and will remain the life force he draws from and his lifelong love."
It is worth noting that artist Mohammed Abdu had experienced a health setback that led him to withdraw from Eid concerts. He appeared on the "Tafaulkom" program and reassured his audience about his health, stating that he is suffering from the flu and that he dislikes appearing before the audience in such a condition. He added, "I may have contracted the virus in the crowded atmosphere of Mecca, and I always tell event coordinators to avoid the busy times of Eid, as people tend to be exhausted."
He also mentioned that he received numerous calls inquiring about his health, expressing gratitude for all the loving sentiments and apologizing to those he couldn't respond to or reach out to regarding his health status.
