A rabid dog caused panic in a region of Upper Egypt after it attacked several individuals. The stray dog bit 12 people, including children, in various areas of the village of "Al-Raisiya," part of the Nagaa Hammadi district in northern Qena Governorate. Residents reported the incident to the Qena Security Directorate, indicating that the dog was rabid and had attacked their village. The injured individuals were taken to Al-Waqf Central Hospital for first aid and necessary vaccinations on Friday, according to local media reports. Citizens were warned about the dog through posts on social media and announcements using loudspeakers throughout the village.
