Trump Launches New Attack on Biden with Profanity

Donald Trump launched a new attack on Joe Biden using profane language during his speech on Saturday at the annual conference of the National Rifle Association (NRA) in an effort to rally support for his presidential campaign. Meanwhile, the current president warned in the critical swing state of Georgia that his "troubled" Republican opponent poses a threat to American democracy.

Sessions of Trump's trial in a criminal case in New York were suspended for a week, and he took this opportunity to deliver his speech at the NRA event in Dallas, Texas. In his address to thousands of NRA members, Trump called Biden "the worst president in the history of our country," describing the Democrat as a man "full of crap." He added, "You're fired, get out of here Joe!" eliciting laughter from the audience while warning them that Biden wants to take away their firearms.

Trump told the crowd that Biden is a "fraud," labeling him as "a threat to democracy." Meanwhile, Biden arrived in Georgia on Saturday, a critical swing state he won in the 2020 elections, and was seeking support from African Americans, scheduled to speak at Morehouse College, a historically Black institution.

Biden responded to Trump's remarks on Saturday, saying, "My opponent is not a good loser. But he is a loser," adding to his supporters, "Our democracy is really at stake." He continued, "He is not just obsessed with losing in 2020. Clearly, he is troubled," suggesting something may have "happened" to Trump after those elections.

Biden stated, "Trump is not running to lead America. He is running for revenge. We cannot allow this man to become president. The future of our children is at stake. We must win this race, not for me, but for America." Trump had protested again on Friday about his trial, saying, "What a fraud this whole process is." He added, "I have been here for nearly four weeks, and we still have a long way to go," describing his opponent as "a horrible" and "terrible" person among other profane descriptions. Biden had repeatedly called for the reinstatement of a long-term ban on assault weapons, along with other restrictions.
