The Russian Defense Ministry announced the downing of 36 Ukrainian drones over the territories of Kursk, Lipetsk, Voronezh, Bryansk, Oryol, and Belgorod. In its statement, the ministry indicated that "during the past night, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack using drones against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation was thwarted." It added: "15 drones were shot down over the Kursk region, 9 over Lipetsk, 4 over each of Voronezh and Bryansk, and 2 over each of Oryol and Belgorod."
