Israeli military officials confirmed to i24NEWS that “the spy drone operated by Hezbollah, which filmed sensitive sites in Israel, was detected and under the surveillance of the Israeli Air Force.” The officials also noted that, for various reasons, it was not intercepted, and according to the policy for such cases, there was no need to activate the alarm system. Additionally, Hezbollah released the second part of the video captured by its spy drone, referred to as "the Hoopoe." In the current part of the video, which lasts about 10 minutes, sensitive sites in Israel are shown. Sources in the Israeli army estimate that Hezbollah’s drone did not capture the footage yesterday, but rather some time ago. Hezbollah published the first part of the drone footage about two weeks ago, which included visual documentation from Rafael factories in the north, Kiryat, and Haifa Bay. Sources told i24NEWS at that time that it was possible the video was filmed by a drone that entered Israel a few days prior, when sirens were heard over Haifa, which was later announced by the military spokesman to be a false alarm.
