The following statement was issued by the Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Guidance today, Tuesday: "As part of the security measures undertaken by the military institution in various regions, units of the army, supported by patrols from the Intelligence Directorate, arrested 6 individuals as follows:
- Raids on the homes of wanted individuals in the town of Mazraat Beit Sleibi - Baalbek, resulting in the arrest of citizens (M.S.) and (A.M.) for committing armed robbery on the public road Naba'a al-Mourj - Aiyoun al-Siman - Hadath Baalbek, and for possessing military weapons, ammunition, and military gear.
- Raids on the homes of wanted individuals in the town of Al-Samakiah - Akkar, leading to the arrest of citizens (F.A.) and (F.S.) for possessing weapons and military gear.
- The arrest of citizens (A.A.) and (S.A.) in the Wadi al-Nahla - Baddawi area for their involvement in an incident that involved gunfire, along with the confiscation of a quantity of military ammunition and gear.
The seized items were handed over, and an investigation has commenced with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary."
