Blinken and His UAE Counterpart Discuss the Situation in Gaza

The U.S. State Department reported that Secretary of State Antony Blinken discussed, in a phone call with UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, the post-war phase in Gaza and how to establish governance, security, and reconstruction to build lasting peace and security for both Israelis and Palestinians. Blinken and his UAE counterpart also discussed "diplomatic efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza, the release of hostages, and a significant and sustained increase in humanitarian assistance to the Gaza Strip."
