Russia Promises to Respond to Any Information Warfare Against It

The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry's International Information Security Department, Arthur Lukmanov, announced that "Russia will respond appropriately to any information warfare aimed at it." The department head pointed out that "the United States is actively promoting its aggressive positions on the diplomatic front, in the United Nations, and through the International Red Cross and other international organizations." He added that "the United States is attempting to justify the use of force against countries under the pretext of responding to cyberattacks." He noted that "given that Washington easily directs false accusations in this area, this scenario will lead to a serious escalation. I assure you that Russia will respond appropriately to any information warfare aimed at it." He reported that "NATO is forming a network of cyber laboratories along Russia's borders in Estonia, Latvia, Finland, and Romania, and in the future in Georgia and Moldova as well." He confirmed that "Washington has long been developing hybrid warfare methods against Russia and has made Ukraine a main stage for its hackers who are launching disruptive cyber operations against Russia under NATO's sponsorship."
