Moroccan artist Said Al-Nasiri has begun filming scenes for a new movie in which he has adopted the motto "Don't change a winning team," by renewing trust in several Moroccan actors who previously collaborated with him in his comedy series "Al-Bouy" and in his feature film "Nayda." Moroccan actor Mohsen Nasheet, the star of Al-Nasiri's new film, stated in a statement to Hespress that the story is entirely comedic but not devoid of dramatic social moments, noting that it primarily revolves around "a contract that is in the hands of actor Said Al-Nasiri, who portrays two dual characters in the film, being chased by a gang of three people, and events unfold from there."
He continued that he is pleased to embark on a second experience in the film industry with Al-Nasiri, who contacted him before Ramadan after they worked together on a comedy series, suggesting he work on his new film, which Nasheet accepted, adding that this time he appears to the audience as a member of a gang, representing a comedic role different from those he played in previous works. Currently, the last scenes of the film are being shot in the city of Fes.
Throughout his new feature film, Al-Nasiri addresses several social issues that carry meaningful messages, similar to his previous productions, including the phenomenon of human trafficking, the abduction of infants from hospitals, begging, and other societal problems in Moroccan society. The cast also includes actors Abd al-Haq Belmjahid, Mohamed Izzam, Said Bentika, Sofia Benkirane, Hicham Benjelloun, Sadik Makwar, Rania Mansour, alongside the return of the esteemed artist Mustapha Tah Tah after years of absence.
It is noteworthy that actor and director Said Al-Nasiri released a film titled "Nayda" a few months ago, which achieved significant success, remaining steadfast in Moroccan cinemas and generating considerable revenues.
