Title: A Heated Exchange Between Emirates' Ahlam and Egypt's Sherine Reda

A fierce battle has erupted in recent hours between Emirati artist Ahlam and Egyptian artist Sherine Reda. Ahlam broke her silence today, responding to Reda's recent comments made during the program "Al-Irafah" with media personality Basma Wahba. Ahlam wrote on her official account on "X": "Who is the one with free time? Am I free? But for you, I will definitely be free. Listen well, I will never allow you to say that the voice of the muezzin and the call to prayer are loud and harsh." She also stated that "silence in the face of truth is a mute devil."

Wahba confronted Reda about Ahlam's criticism of her for describing the voices of some muezzins as "harsh," to which Reda responded, clarifying that she "did not insult the call to prayer at all," but meant that some muezzin voices are ugly. She expressed her astonishment, saying, "Am I mentally deficient to insult the call to prayer? They said I insulted the call to prayer, and I said about a muezzin that his voice is harsh, and this is not an insult, but a description of the voice."

Additionally, she added, "The muezzin must respect religion, and the call to prayer is for worldly matters when the voice is beautiful." She reiterated that her objection was solely to the voice and not the call to prayer itself.

It is worth noting that the Egyptian artist had an outburst during the program regarding a question about marriage, which apparently angered her, despite the guest having the freedom to respond to it. She also expressed her displeasure with other questions related to her previous marriage to Amr Diab and her personal life, leading her to walk out live on air in front of her stunned host.
