After days of stormy weather in Lebanon, the impact of the weather front is gradually diminishing starting from this afternoon, Monday. The weather remains unsettled until the morning of Tuesday, after which it is expected to become relatively stable with rising temperatures, before turning again unsettled starting Wednesday afternoon. The average temperatures for January in Beirut range from 11 to 19 degrees, in Tripoli from 9 to 17 degrees, and in Zahle from 3 to 13 degrees.
#### Condition of Lebanon's Roads
This morning, the Traffic Control Room reported the following about mountain roads:
- The Dhour El Baydar road is open to all vehicles except trucks.
- The Tarsheh - Zahle road is currently open to all vehicles.
#### Expected Weather in Lebanon
**Monday:** Partially cloudy to mostly cloudy at times without significant change in temperatures. Fog is forming at higher altitudes. Scattered rain is expected in the morning, which may be heavy at times. Winds will be active, especially in the southern and northern regions before noon, with snow falling at elevations of 1600 meters and above. Widespread clearings are expected during the day with ice formation on mountain roads during the night starting from 1500 meters.
**Tuesday:** Partially cloudy with medium to high clouds and rising temperatures which will become seasonal. Light, scattered, and intermittent rain is expected. There remains a risk of ice formation on mountain roads during the night starting from 1500 meters.
**Wednesday:** Partially cloudy with a limited rise in temperatures. Fog may form on the heights during the morning, along with light scattered rain, especially in northern areas where it may intensify during the evening, with light snow at 1800 meters and above.
**Surface Winds:** Southwestern winds, occasionally active, at a speed between 25 and 50 km/h.
**Visibility:** Good on the coast and poor overall in the mountains due to dense fog and heavy rain at times.
