Data from the National Oil Corporation of Libya showed that the daily oil production rate in Libya reached 1.273 million barrels per day. It also indicated that the production of condensates amounted to 49,066 barrels per day. Additionally, the daily production of natural gas was 220,638 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Thus, the total production rates of crude oil, condensates, and natural gas reached 1,543,281 barrels per day. Earlier, Libyan oil expert Mohamed Ahmed noted that the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) needs to increase its oil revenues from the current trillion dollars to four trillion dollars next year to maintain the living standards of its citizens.
