Deryan to Saudi Arabia Tomorrow for Hajj

The Dar Al-Fatwa in Lebanon announced in a statement that "the Day of Standing in Arafat on the ninth of Dhu al-Hijjah corresponds to Saturday, June 15 of this month, and therefore, Sunday, the tenth of Dhu al-Hijjah of the year 1445 AH is the first day of Eid al-Adha, corresponding to June 16, 2024." The statement congratulated the pilgrims of the Sacred House of Allah, wishing them "a blessed Hajj, accepted endeavors, and forgiven sins." It also congratulated "all Muslims on this blessed holiday, asking Allah Almighty to grant it to them and to all Lebanese with goodness, security, peace, and stability."

Sheikh Abdul Latif Deryan, the Grand Mufti of Lebanon, will depart from Beirut to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia tomorrow morning, Saturday, to perform the Hajj under the auspices of the royal protocol. By the delegation of the Grand Mufti, the Secretary of Fatwa in Lebanon, Sheikh Amin Al-Kurdi, will lead the Eid al-Adha prayers and sermon at 11:06 AM on Sunday, June 16, at the Mosque of the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad the Trustworthy, in downtown Beirut.
