The Asayish forces announced the arrest of a suspect who killed a woman from his relatives for her money in Erbil. The forces stated in a report that "on the 4th of this month, the body of a woman named (Qadm Khair Aziz) was found murdered in her home in the Muntikawa neighborhood of Erbil province." They explained that "after conducting their investigations, they were able to uncover the identity of the killer, named (M, K, R), who is a relative of the victim, and he was arrested in record time."
They added that "after the investigation, he confessed to his crime and said that two days before the crime, at the request of the victim, he sold her car and handed over the cash, and during the handover, in order to steal the money, he committed his crime. To cover up his crime, he threw the victim's mobile phone in an abandoned area, while he hid the money on the roof of his house in the village of Darabin."
