Laurent Perrin, a journalist at "Le Parisien," revealed that star Kylian Mbappé feels guilty after leaving Paris Saint-Germain and moving to Real Madrid, especially after PSG refused to sign a contract with his younger brother, Ethan. Earlier this year, Mbappé announced his departure from PSG before officially signing with Real Madrid for five years.
Ethan, Kylian’s younger brother, was beginning his first steps as a player with Paris Saint-Germain after participating in some matches. The PSG management intended to renew his contract, which ends at the end of this month, but the events involving his older brother led them to change their decision.
Perrin stated that PSG management aimed to keep Ethan by offering him a professional contract, but recently the tension between them and Kylian reached its peak. He added, "Kylian felt that his decision to leave affected his younger brother’s future at PSG, but the reality is that Ethan was heading towards extending his contract before the disputes between his brother and the club's management erupted."
He continued, "Kylian Mbappé was deeply affected by what happened to his younger brother, feeling that he was the reason for shattering Ethan's dream of playing for Paris Saint-Germain."
