Netanyahu: Sending a Delegation to Discuss Hostage Agreement on Thursday

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office announced on Sunday that Netanyahu has ordered the sending of a delegation tasked with negotiating with the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas to reach an agreement regarding the hostages on Thursday, without specifying the destination of the delegation. The statement added that Netanyahu held a meeting today with the delegation and senior leaders of the Israeli army. So far, efforts for a ceasefire led by Qatar and Egypt, supported by the United States, have not succeeded in reaching an agreement, with both sides of the ongoing conflict in Gaza, now in its ninth month, trading accusations for the deadlock.
