The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated today, Friday, that "in light of the developments in the region, and in order to ensure the safety of Jordanian citizens abroad, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates urges Jordanian citizens to avoid traveling to the sisterly Republic of Lebanon at this time." The ministry confirmed the statements made in a statement issued on October 31, 2023, regarding travel to Lebanon, based on the emergency preparations and plans announced by the official authorities in Lebanon at that time. The official spokesperson for the ministry, Ambassador Dr. Sufian Al-Qudah, emphasized that this recommendation comes from a strong concern for the safety of Jordanian citizens.
