The CEO of Flydubai, owned by the government of the emirate, stated on Tuesday that "the company is in early talks with Boeing and Airbus regarding its largest aircraft order ever." He added in a press interview, "The last order we placed was for the purchase of 175 aircraft, and this next one will be the largest. I am sure of that." Flydubai announced the purchase of 175 Boeing 737 Max aircraft in 2017.
