Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed for the first time the information circulating in Israeli circles regarding his health condition. The website "Walla" reported that Netanyahu filed a lawsuit against several activists who disseminated information suggesting he has pancreatic cancer.
In the lawsuit, Netanyahu stated against protest activist Gonen Ben Yitzhak and journalists Ben Caspit and Uri Misgav, "The Prime Minister is not sick and certainly does not have pancreatic cancer (a fatal illness that generally includes a quick death within a year at most)."
The lawsuit further claimed that "in recent weeks and days, the defendants began to spread false and malicious information against the Prime Minister concerning false statements about his health," asserting that "all of that information is malignant lies."
