The Hebrew website "I24" reported today, Sunday, that Abbas Ahmed Khalil, an activist in the "Imam Hussein" brigade who was killed in the Israeli attack on Saturday in southern Lebanon along with two others, is the grandson of Secretary-General Mr. Hassan Nasrallah. It mentioned that his father is nicknamed Abu Ali Noah, who is Nasrallah's personal aide and fights alongside Iranian-backed armed groups in Syria. The report stated that this is not the first time a relative of Nasrallah has been killed in the war: "In January, the commander of the Radwan Force, Wissam al-Tawil, was killed in the town of Kharbat Salim in southern Lebanon. According to the site, al-Tawil has a family relation to Hassan Nasrallah through one of his wives."
The Israeli army announced yesterday its responsibility for targeting a vehicle in Nakoura, stating it targeted a group of militants belonging to the Imam Hussein brigade. It is worth noting that Hezbollah mourned in a statement "the martyr warrior Abbas Ahmed Khalil 'Abu Ahmad Sajid,' born in 1988 from the town of al-Samma'iya in southern Lebanon, who ascended as a martyr on the path to Jerusalem." However, the party did not mention any family relation of Khalil to Hezbollah Secretary-General Mr. Hassan Nasrallah.
