Russia Plans to Produce Two Satellites Weekly

The Russian company "Gazprom SPKA" announced that it plans to open a new space industry factory, aiming to produce two satellites weekly. Regarding this topic, the company's first deputy director, Sergey Masalov, stated, "Our new factory dedicated to satellite manufacturing will start operations in June 2025, and it is planned for this factory to be capable of producing two satellites per week." He added, "In August 2025, experts at the factory are expected to develop and test two satellites." Masalov pointed out that "the first satellites produced by the factory will be developed in cooperation with several private companies, and negotiations are currently underway with several companies to meet the production targets set for next year." Gazprom SPKA, established in 2015, is a commercial company affiliated with the Russian Gazprom corporation, working in the field of designing, assembling, and testing space technology.
