Iranian Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi pointed out that "the country has entered a new phase after this election," emphasizing the integrity of the presidential elections held yesterday. During a press conference, Vahidi thanked the candidates and the people for their wide participation in this election, as well as all political and security institutions for their contributions to conducting this political turnout. He stated: "We congratulate the Iranian people and Mr. Masoud Bezhakian on his victory in the fourteenth election. Our people elected Masoud Bezhakian as President of Iran in the fourteenth presidential elections." He added: "The Iranian intelligence ministry thwarted the enemies' plots to make the elections unsafe, and the police leadership dealt with those who attempted to disrupt the elections." The Interior Minister noted that "more than 30 million people participated in this election."
