Bogdanov and Al-Jaafari Discuss the Situation in Syria and the Region

The Special Representative of the Russian President for the Middle East and Africa, Mikhail Bogdanov, confirmed during his meeting with the Syrian ambassador in Moscow, Bashar Al-Jaafari, Moscow's readiness to continue making efforts to promote constructive dialogue between Damascus and its regional surroundings, based on the principles of unconditional respect for Syria's sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity. The Russian Foreign Ministry noted that the meeting also addressed some practical issues of bilateral cooperation, including the schedule of upcoming communications.
