The police announced that "Israeli forces shot a 19-year-old Palestinian today, Tuesday, after he attempted to stab a member of a unit conducting an operation in the town of Al-Bireh near Ramallah in the West Bank." No armed Palestinian factions have claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
