Gallant: Increase in Assassination Operations Against Hamas Leaders

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant ordered an increase in operational readiness across all combat sectors following the Khan Yunis attack. Gallant stated: "To increase assassination operations against Hamas leaders and raise the state of alert on all fronts." Following an assessment meeting in my office with the Chief of Staff, the head of the Shin Bet, and senior security officials, I expressed great appreciation for the IDF and Shin Bet’s ongoing operations to eliminate Hamas leaders. We continue focused operations to disrupt Hamas commanders and are enhancing readiness in all combat areas - the security system is prepared and alert for any scenario.
