Recovery of 139 ISIS Corpses in Northern Iraq

Iraqi authorities have recovered 139 corpses from a large natural geological pit that appears to have been used by ISIS to dispose of its victims during its control of Nineveh province in northern Iraq. The "Aloo Anter" pit is located in the Tal Afar area west of Mosul, which served as the organization's capital during its control. The exact number of bodies thrown into the pit remains unknown, but efforts to search for more continue.
