Israeli forces continued today, Friday, to target villages and towns in southern Lebanon with artillery shelling and airstrikes. Two Israeli airstrikes targeted homes in the town of Houla and the town of Bir al-Maslabiya at the intersection of Al-Abad. The second strike occurred while a civil defense team was present at the site of the first strike, resulting in minor injuries to one volunteer and another suffering from suffocation. An Israeli drone also targeted the town of Aita al-Shab in the central sector, followed by airstrikes on the same town. Artillery, phosphorus shelling, and flare bombs hit the town of Houla and the outskirts of Kfar Hamam and Al-Habariyya. In response, Hezbollah announced in a statement that its members targeted buildings used by enemy soldiers in the Al-Manara settlement with appropriate weapons and hit them directly.
