Qabalan: Lebanon with Resistance is a Strong Country

The distinguished Jaafari Mufti Sheikh Ahmad Qabalan emphasized that "Lebanon with resistance is a strong and sovereign country, a national and regional value that the world cannot overlook." He stated in a statement, "According to national necessity, nothing is more important than the convergence of parliamentary forces to conclude a presidential settlement that honors the consensual covenant commensurate with the Lebanese family and its constitutional partnership. With all love and national logic, I say to some: Lebanon exists in the heart of a strategic socket amidst the fire of the region and within the chains of the most dangerous Zionist terrorism; therefore, it cannot be outside the war of regional sovereignty and its interests that intersect with the core of Lebanese interests."

Qabalan added, "The value of sovereign Lebanon in this war stems from the value of resistance and its deterrent strength; with resistance, Lebanon is a strong and sovereign country and a national regional value that the world cannot bypass. The presidential obstruction is related to the flawed political marketplace, not the war in Gaza. It should be noted that the remains of Gaza and the cries of its corpses will represent the greatest scales of God on the Day of Judgment. Moral humility for the sake of national blood is required, and the sanctity surrounding the work of the resistance transcends internal calculations and their trivial details. The presidential blockade exists in the narrow alley, not in the sovereign sacrifices that ensure this country remains a homeland for all its sects." He noted that "what we need is only political courage and national nobility to conclude a presidential settlement that befits our national partnership and the sacrifices of the resistance, which does not recognize any higher interest above the interest of Lebanon and the partnership of its sects that form the Lebanese family."
