Large Crowds and a Multilingual Sermon for Eid Prayer in Japan

The Turkish mosque in Tokyo, Japan, witnessed a significant number of worshippers attending the Eid al-Adha prayer, making it the largest mosque in the Japanese capital and affiliated with the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Turkish media reported that the mosque was filled with Muslims from Asian and African countries living in Japan, with large crowds lining the streets surrounding the mosque to perform the Eid prayer. Imam Adam Levent led the prayer, and in his sermon delivered in four languages—Arabic, Turkish, Japanese, and English—he emphasized the brotherhood that Eid al-Adha fosters among Islamic nations.
