One of Barcelona's leaders has decided to leave Camp Nou during the ongoing summer transfer window, after spending 14 years with the first team, according to a Catalan press report. According to "Mundo Deportivo," Sergi Roberto intends to leave Barcelona and has started listening to offers after his contract ended on June 30. Previous reports indicated that Barcelona offered Roberto the chance to continue for another season at a lower salary. The newspaper added, "Roberto had to wait on the Financial Fair Play list to be registered, with the deadline for waiting being August 10; however, he refused and said goodbye to Barcelona, and began listening to offers." It noted that some teams in La Liga, such as Sevilla and Valencia, and to a lesser extent Girona, have shown interest in the player, but he wants to play outside of La Liga, specifically targeting the Premier League.
