Title: Egypt: 4,000 Cases of Electricity Theft Detected in 24 Hours

The internal security agencies of the Egyptian Economic Security Sector have intensified security campaigns in coordination with all relevant parties recently, which has resulted in numerous positive outcomes in a 24-hour period. The Transportation Police conducted several operations to address various violations and negative phenomena affecting the metro service, railway stations, and trains, leading to the detection of 1,615 diverse cases. Additionally, the General Administration for Electricity Police identified 4,775 cases of electricity theft and violations of contract conditions. Large-scale campaigns continue across the country to strengthen security control and combat crime in all its forms.
