A statement was issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division, stating: "In the framework of the daily follow-up that the Internal Security Forces undertake to curb drug trafficking and promotion in various Lebanese areas, as a result of the efforts made by the specialized units in the Information Branch to identify those involved in these operations, they were able to identify a drug dealer active in the Kafa'at-Hadeth area, named: Q.B. (born in 1999, Syrian)."
It added: "On 08-01-2024, after precise surveillance, one of the branch patrols apprehended him in the act in the Kafa'at area, while he was promoting drugs on a black motorcycle that was confiscated. Upon searching him and the motorcycle, the following were found: a military pistol with a magazine containing /6/ usable rounds, a bullet of caliber /7.62/, a piece of hashish weighing approximately /10/ grams, /7/ plastic packages containing cocaine marked BOON with a weight of approximately /9.9/ grams each, /34/ plastic packages containing cocaine marked PURR weighing approximately /4.1/ grams each, /39/ plastic packages containing cocaine marked BUZZ weighing approximately /4/ grams each, /11/ plastic packages containing cocaine marked VIP BUZZ weighing approximately /3.8/ grams each, /3/ plastic packages containing cocaine marked SPECIAL BUZZ 1 GRAM weighing approximately /5.1/ grams each, /23/ plastic packages containing cocaine marked NET weighing approximately /4.1/ grams each, /9/ plastic packages containing cocaine marked GRAM BUZ weighing approximately /4.8/ grams each, /4/ plastic packages containing cocaine marked SPECIAL COC weighing approximately /5/ grams each, /30/ plastic packages containing cocaine weighing approximately /4.6/ grams each, /24/ plastic packages containing cocaine marked NET 0.5 weighing approximately /4.3/ grams, a mobile phone, and a sum of money."
During the investigation, he confessed to the charges of drug promotion in the Kafa'at, Hadeth, Marjeyoun, and Haret Saida areas, using the motorcycle that was confiscated. The legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred with the confiscated items to the relevant authority based on judicial instructions.
