Ashley Biden, the daughter of U.S. President Joe Biden, is indebted for $5,000 in income taxes dating back to 2015, according to the recent tax lien list obtained by Fox News. Tax liens are legal claims imposed by the government on property or assets to secure unpaid taxes after repeated collection attempts.
On December 1 of this year, the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue informed Ashley Biden (42 years old) that "the amount of these unpaid taxes, interest, or penalties serves as a lien on behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on the taxpayer's property," according to the notice. The lien period starts on January 1, 2015, when Joe Biden was vice president under Barack Obama, and ends on January 1, 2021, just days before he was sworn in as president.
Garrett Ziegler, founder of the non-profit organization Marco Polo and a former aide to President Donald Trump, stated, "Biden constantly talks about how wealthy people do not pay their fair share of taxes, yet both of his children have not paid theirs. This is just another example of the negligence of the Biden family."
