In live statements, former Israeli minister Ayoub Kara admitted that he would not accept the establishment of a Palestinian state, even if he were the last Israeli on the right. When asked about the belief of the Israeli right in the right of Palestinians to establish their state during an interview on the program "Discussion Forum" hosted by colleague Rasha Nabil and broadcast on Al Arabiya, the right-wing minister evasively responded: "If I were the last Israeli on the right, I would not allow the establishment of a Palestinian state with Hamas or terrorist factions."
Kara is an Israeli politician who was a member of the Likud party in the Knesset and served as Deputy Minister for the Development of the Negev and Galilee. He held the position of Minister without Portfolio and Minister of Communications in Netanyahu's government until 2019. He identifies himself as a Zionist Israeli, opposed the disengagement plan from Gaza, and supports Jewish settlement in the West Bank. Kara believes that Israel "has no one to make peace with," as all peace partners aim to weaken Israel. He also criticized the Oslo Accords for giving "the Palestinian leadership that was in Lebanon and Tunisia the legitimacy to lead Judea, Samaria, and Gaza," as he described it.
