The head of the National Security Committee in the Israeli Knesset, Tzvika Bogl, urged residents of northern Israeli towns to open shelters, following the attack on Majdal Shams. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated earlier: "We have the necessary plans to respond to the missile attack on Majdal Shams and are prepared for any developments."
