Halting Pilgrim Flow to Jamarat During Peak Hours

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has directed Hajj campaigns and Tawaf companies to stop the flow of pilgrims to the Jamarat station from 11 AM to 4 PM due to the significant rise in temperatures. The holy sites recorded the highest temperatures since the start of Hajj, reaching 49 degrees Celsius in the shade. The National Center of Meteorology expects hot weather to continue on the first days of Tashreeq in Mecca and the holy sites in general, coinciding with pilgrims continuing their rituals. The center indicated that expected temperatures in Mecca will reach 49 degrees Celsius, while Arafat, Muzdalifah, and Mina will also see temperatures of 49 degrees. The significant rise in temperatures has necessitated the deployment of numerous ambulances around the Jamarat facility to handle any emergencies during the stoning of the three Jamarat on the first days of Tashreeq.
