Israeli Reserve Soldier: We Are Looking for Fighters on Facebook

Israeli broadcasting authority reported today, Sunday, that a reserve soldier in the "Golan Brigade" confirmed that the army is searching for fighters and volunteers through closed groups on Facebook. The soldier stated that the continuation of the war is causing "psychological and economic damage" to the soldiers, and if the army continues with its current policy, it will not find more soldiers. He added that the army is not prepared for a confrontation in Lebanon, and the soldiers there cannot move in many areas. The soldier emphasized that the troops are exhausted and tired, and they do not understand why they keep entering the same areas in Gaza repeatedly, where they face death. The soldier from the "Golan Brigade" stressed that the Israeli army largely relies on reserve forces, which have begun to feel exhausted, urging army leaders to "wake up and understand the field." He reported that the army is suffering from a shortage of human resources, which negatively impacts the fighters and crushes their morale. He concluded: "Israeli soldiers are in a state of exhaustion and depletion as the war continues in the Gaza Strip and the northern border with Lebanon."
