Ghayad: If the Patriarch Considered Hezbollah Terrorist, He Would Have Stopped Communicating with Them

The media official in Bkirki, Walid Ghayad, confirmed that "there is no intention to target Hezbollah nor to label it as terrorist, and the Patriarch did not mean Hezbollah nor the resistance in the south, which we appreciate for all its sacrifices and the legitimate victories it has achieved, and we salute all the martyrs who fall in the south." He emphasized that communication between Bkirki and Hezbollah is ongoing, adding, "If the Patriarch considered Hezbollah a terrorist, he would have stopped communicating with them because he does not engage with terrorists." Ghayad revealed, "Ambassadors asked the Patriarch to label Hezbollah as a terrorist group, and he categorically rejected this, affirming that the party is a Lebanese team."
