Hamas Rejects New Conditions Set by Israel

Hamas announced today, Friday, its rejection of the new conditions imposed by Israel in the proposed agreement in Doha. They stated, "What we have been informed about the results of the Doha meetings does not include the commitment to what was agreed upon on July 2." Meanwhile, Israeli security officials reported to Yedioth Ahronoth that "Israel has received the American proposal, which is completely unacceptable to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu." On Friday, Qatar, Egypt, and the United States issued a statement regarding the Doha summit aimed at bridging the gaps in negotiations between Hamas and Israel, indicating that "the United States, with support from Qatar and Egypt, has presented a proposal that narrows the gaps between the two parties and aligns with the principles set by President Biden and the UN Security Council resolution."
