Israeli Army Confirms the Death of Two Officers in Shuja'iyya Neighborhood

The Israeli Army announced today, Saturday, that two of its officers were killed in a battle in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood of Gaza City earlier. According to a statement from the Israeli Army regarding the military operation in Shuja'iyya, it was noted that during the fighting in the area "this week, Captain Roy Miller, from the Rotem Battalion, and Captain Eli Elisha Logasi, from the 75th Battalion, fell in combat." The Israeli Army's statement indicated that its forces were able to "identify the location of an arms cache containing long-range rockets and explosives." It added that "during operations in the Shuja'iyya area, soldiers discovered underground tunnels and seized long-range weapons and rockets, indicating a renewed attempt by the enemy to establish a base in the area."
