Dog Rescues Baby in a Bag in Tripoli

Tripoli was shaken early Wednesday morning by a horrific incident, where a newborn baby was found inside a black bag near the municipal building. In detail, while passing by the Tripoli municipal building, a citizen named "Y.S." saw a dog dragging a bag from which a moaning sound was heard. He immediately rushed to take the bag and discovered that it contained a newborn baby. He transported her to the Islamic Hospital, and she was later transferred to the Tripoli Government Hospital via the emergency and relief device. Reports indicated that the baby has several wounds on various parts of her body. The Minister of Social Affairs in the caretaker government, Hector Hajjar, tweeted, "We have been in contact and coordinating regarding the newborn baby in Tripoli with the relevant judicial authorities that are monitoring her condition. She has been transferred to the hospital for treatment of some minor wounds." He added, "A shelter has also been secured to ensure her rights are protected while considering her safety and natural growth."
