The bodies of six people were found in a room at a hotel in the tourist center of Bangkok, Thailand's capital, according to a police official, who suggested that one of the deceased may be the perpetrator of the crime. The bodies of six Vietnamese nationals, two of whom also held American citizenship, were discovered in a suite at the "Grand Hyatt Erawan" hotel in the Ratchaprasong area, which is the tourist hub of Bangkok, on Tuesday afternoon. Bangkok Deputy Police Chief Nopasit Bunsawas stated, "We are convinced that one of the six individuals found dead committed this crime. We believe that cyanide was used as a poison and that the motive behind the crime is related to debts."
