Security Raids University Professor's Home in Baghdad: Shocking Discoveries

An Iraqi security source reported a raid on the home of a university professor in the Sayyidia area of Baghdad, noting the seizure of drugs, weapons, and ammunition. The source stated, "Security forces executed a raid on the home of a university professor who works in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Sayyidia area."

It was added that a Kalashnikov, seven magazines, two boxes of ammunition, a half-kilogram bag of white powder, a quarter bag of crystal, religious pamphlets, and two computers were found in his residence. These findings represent a "shock," especially since they were discovered in the home of a university professor who is expected to guide students and raise awareness about the dangers of drugs and loose weapons.
