Israeli Broadcasting Authority revealed this evening, Monday, that the political level "approved the transition to the final phase of the war in Gaza during this month." It explained that "the political level gave the army the green light to gradually move to the third and final phase," noting that "this decision was made due to the hostage exchange file and tensions on the northern front to avoid the expansion of the war." It stated: "The green light granted to the army will allow the continuation of the military operation but in a different manner." The Israeli Broadcasting Authority pointed out that "Phase Three includes remaining in the Nitzarim and Philadelphia axes to pressure Hamas."
