The Iranian Revolutionary Guard indicated today, Saturday, that "the assassination of Ismail Haniya, the head of Hamas's political bureau, was planned and executed by Israel with support from the United States." They stated in a statement: "The operation was carried out by launching a short-range projectile from outside Haniya's place of residence." They added that "technical investigations show that Haniya's assassination was carried out with a projectile weighing 7.5 kilograms."
