The Horrific Murder of a Student in Egypt

Egyptian security agencies have revealed the details of one of the most horrific crimes in Egypt, in which the body of a secondary school student was found cut in half, with the lower part discarded in agricultural land in Dakahlia Governorate, northern Egypt. Authorities were notified about the discovery of the lower half of a secondary student in a water drain in the village of 7 Thabet, belonging to the town of Al-Sitamouni. A security force swiftly arrived at the location and formed a research team to uncover the circumstances of the incident and search for the upper part of the body.

It was determined that authorities had received a report from the family of a student named Ihab Ashraf Abdel Aziz, who had been missing for several days. By analyzing the DNA of the lower half of the body and comparing it with the genetic fingerprint of his father, it became clear that the body belonged to the missing student. Hundreds of villagers performed funeral prayers for the lower half of the body and conducted a prayer for the absent upper part until it is found.

Intensive efforts have been made by security agencies to uncover the circumstances of this mysterious incident. They tracked the student’s route, phone calls, and the last places he visited, as well as those he last met. Within two days, they managed to unveil the mystery surrounding the crime.

It was revealed that the perpetrator was a physics teacher who provided private lessons to the victim, and he collaborated with a carpenter to dispose of the body. Investigations showed that the physics teacher had suffered financial losses due to gambling and devised a plan to compensate for his losses by kidnapping one of his students for ransom. It was added that during an attempt to record a video of the student, whose father owns a furniture store, the teacher accidentally killed him by severing a vein in his neck. Consequently, he resorted to dismembering the body to eliminate evidence of the crime.

Upon the teacher's arrest, he directed the authorities to the upper part of the body and confessed to killing the student to demand a ransom from his father. He claimed that the student died due to the accidental cut and decided to conceal his crime by agreeing with the carpenter to cut the body in half and dispose of it in water drains to obscure its features. The prosecution has been notified and is overseeing the investigation.
