Qawooq: Our Presidential Candidate is Trusted to Save the Country

Sheikh Nabih Qawooq, a member of the Central Council of Hezbollah, stated that "the main reason for the complexity of crises at various levels is the insistence of the challenge and confrontation group to disrupt internal and external initiatives." He questioned, "Can the country be saved through confrontation and challenge, or does saving the country require understanding and consensus?" Sheikh Qawooq addressed the challenge and confrontation group, saying: "Wake up from your delusions, for Lebanon is not defeated to accept a president who works to achieve the goals of the July 2006 war." He emphasized that "hatreds have unveiled, and the malicious intentions to target the resistance have also revealed themselves, which reaffirms the validity of our stance and our commitment to a presidential candidate who can be trusted to save the country and protect civil peace from strife."

He noted that "the Israeli enemy now acknowledges that the strategy of resistance is tightening its grip on it from Gaza, the West Bank, and the south in Lebanon and Syria. This demonstrates the success of the resistance strategy in supporting Palestine, its people, and the beloved Jerusalem, while those who have normalized relations are letting down the Palestinian people and rewarding the Israeli occupier." Sheikh Qawooq asked, "Has the daily killing and desecration of sanctities stopped after the normalization process? Has settlement ceased?" He stated, "It suffices that the enemy announces its joy and delight in the normalization process, which is considered a betrayal to the Palestinian people."

Sheikh Qawooq’s remarks came during a tribute ceremony organized by the Educational Mobilization of Hezbollah for successful students in official exams and university graduates in the city of Tyre, attended by several scholars, dignitaries, and a large crowd of the honored students' families.
