Hezbollah announced today, Sunday, that it shelled the observation unit and air operations management at the Meron base in Mount Hermon with dozens of Katyusha rockets. The party indicated that the shelling of the Meron base resulted in the destruction of part of its equipment and the outbreak of fires inside it. Yedioth Ahronoth reported that 10 firefighting teams and 6 aircraft are working in the Lower Galilee area to extinguish fires caused by rockets launched from Lebanon. The Israeli Fire and Rescue Authority stated that "our teams are dealing with 3 fire outbreaks after rockets fell in the Upper and Lower Galilee."
