Strange Incident at U.S. National Guard Base

A chaotic situation occurred at the U.S. National Guard base in Vermont after hundreds of gallons of fire-fighting foam were accidentally released due to a malfunction in the fire suppression system. Colonel Jacob Roy of the Vermont National Guard noted that "efforts have begun to contain the spill and remove the foam from all affected areas." It is reported that 800 gallons (over 3,500 liters) of chemical foam were accidentally released.
