The Israeli army opened fire with heavy machine guns at dawn, targeting the woods adjacent to the towns of Ramia and Aita al-Shaab in the central sector from its positions near the blue line. Last night, it launched a number of heavy artillery shells at the outskirts of the towns of Ramia, Aita al-Shaab, and Marwahin. The town of Hanin in the eastern sector also sustained artillery shelling, resulting in significant damage to property and the electricity network. For less than a week now, the Israeli army has been systematically destroying several southern towns, forcibly displacing their residents, and creating a lack of livelihood, especially in the villages adjacent to the blue line.
